The project explores the relationship between time, transformation, and the photographic process. A long 7-meter strip of photographic paper was placed in the darkness of a cave for 20 days. During this period, the paper underwent a chemical change as the natural drip of water inside the cave affected the paper’s emulsion.

Once removed from the cave, the paper was developed, revealing the transformations that occurred during its exposure to this environment. The process evokes the passage of time, with the image emerging as a record of the physical conditions of the space and the forces that acted on the paper.
